This simple cucumber and Greek yogurt sauce is the perfect addition to warm summer meals. Fresh, creamy, and naturally rich in probiotics, tzatziki pairs beautifully with grilled meat, steamed vegetables, or as a healthier alternative to mayonnaise-based sauces and dips.
It is naturally gluten-free and can also fit into an anti-Candida meal plan when prepared with unsweetened Greek yogurt that contains live probiotic cultures and has a lower lactose content. A fermented plant-based yogurt can also work well as an alternative.

Peel the cucumbers and grate them using a coarse grater. Add a little salt and let them sit for 10–15 minutes so they can release excess moisture.
Squeeze out the extra liquid using cheesecloth, a clean kitchen towel, or a strainer.

In a bowl, combine the drained cucumber, Greek yogurt, crushed garlic, olive oil, and dill. Mix everything well, then adjust the salt or dill to taste.
Chill for 15–30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to blend together beautifully.

Enjoy!
